Jesper Holm Copenhagen

Jesper Holm Copenhagen was established in 1992 by the furniture designer Jesper Holm, who alone designs all products for the company.  Today the furniture is exported all over the world.

Jesper seeks to combine both practical function with simple and logical aesthetics. The fusion of designer and manufacturer gives Jesper the opportunity to produce more bold, less commercial furniture which is made directly from the factory just outside of Copenhagen, and thoroughly controlled for quality by Jesper himself.

All furniture produced is treated with traditional methods, and primarily, natural linseed oil or soap is used, which help the longevity of the furniture whilst giving a great finish and even a pleasant, natural smell to the wood.  With the correct treatment, furniture from Jesper Holm can last a lifetime.

The modern furniture collection by Jesper Holm Copenhagen is handmade, timeless, functional and shines with personality.  Every piece is unique, utilizing the natural structure of the wood to create a balance between furniture and art.

Environment

Quality products are simply better for the environment.  A piece of furniture which lasts many years and substitutes cheaper, poorer quality furniture requires less replacement.  While it is true that good furniture also requires resources and transport, the lifespan of the furniture is longer, whereas cheaper furniture requires even more resources, longer transport time and cost, and gives a much larger problem in relation to waste.
